HomeSlip

Home · School · Doctor. One card.

Know how school went
before pickup.

Three goals, agreed with the teacher. A yes or no on each, under a minute a day. You see the result before pickup, and the reward happens that night.

Free for Founding Families this school year. The teacher needs no app and no login.

The problem

Three adults each see a third of the day.

The teacher

Sees the behavior. Has 24 students and no time to write it down.

The parent

Sees the evening. Finds out how school went at 8pm, or never.

The doctor

Sees fifteen minutes a quarter, and asks how it has been going.

The daily report card was designed to close this gap and has decades of research behind it. It usually dies by October because the paper gets lost, the teacher runs out of time, and the reward at home never happens. HomeSlip runs the loop so it lasts.

How it works

One card, every school day.

1

You pick three goals

Choose three specific, observable goals with your child’s teacher, and set tonight’s reward. About two minutes.

2

The teacher taps a link

No app, no login. They tap Met or Not met on each goal and save. Under a minute.

3

You know before pickup

A notification arrives at dismissal with the result and the reward you already chose.

4

Progress becomes visible

After about a week, a simple trend shows whether things are moving the right way. The doctor gets a clean 30 day summary.

Met and Not met are always words, never color alone. A missed day is never a backlog and never a failure. Met Not met

The aha moment

First week vs. this week. Same kid.

After six recorded days, the teacher and the parent see the same trend. This is an example of what it looks like.
